Pages are secure, no tears or scribbling or foxing. A few minor smudges that do not affect reading. Book measures 7 1/4 x 5 inches; 323 pages plus great ads in back for other books such as Audels and Hawkins. This book is very nicely illustrated. A great reference book for the machinist!
