Description:
This is the 5 3/8" cereal bowl in the Aurora pattern made by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company in the late 1930's. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks and it has good cobalt blue color and detail of the Aurora design. Hazel Atlas named their cobalt blue color Ritz Blue. There were small rim chips that were "repaired" by grinding down the entire rim leaving behind some tiny flakes still showing and the rim flat and dull (see photos). This Depression Glass cereal bowl is 5 7/16" in diameter and 1 7/8" high.
