Description: This is a fabulous hand carved genuine antique scarab or egyptian beetle ring set in a 14kt yellow gold bezel with an ankh on each side of a ring that is a size 6 3/4. The scarab is almost 1 inch long and is .5 inch wide. The ring was made in 1974 for the King Tutankhamun exhibit in San Francisco and was offered for sale at the museum. My family bought museum stock left from the exhibit in 1975. The scarab and the ankh are symbols of eternal life in egyptian mythology. A great decorative piece of wearable history and art.
