Description: An exquisite 14K gold and platinum floral brooch with sapphires and diamonds, c. 1940s. The flowers are in yellow gold mounted on a platinum curl. There are a total of seven diamonds, approximately 1 carat total diamond weight. The diamonds are quite clean and white. There are also three prong set sapphires. The piece is marked 14K and Plat. There is a serial number, but no maker's mark. It is extremely well constructed. The brooch measures 2 1/8" by 1 3/4" and weighs 17.9 grams. Condition is excellent.
