Description:
This dazzling antique chandelier retains its original copper flashed finish. The chandelier begins with a steeply inverted, dome canopy. The chandelier rod meets a stylized urn shaped body with beaded detail. Encompassing the chandelier’s body, three foliate and scroll detailed arms are S-curved to meet the original opalescent, vase ornamented, shades. We have kept the original Weber sockets “patent June 13 1899.” The piece finishes with a corresponding acorn finial. It is amazingly rare to find the original copper flashing in such near mint condition. This chandelier is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or breaks to the shades, just the normal flea bites around the rim. The light fixture has been professionally rewired, and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 19”; the overall length is 29”.
