Description:
Vintage Alice Stuart Red Polka Dot Secretary Blouse with wonderful french cuffs and a sash or tie that you can use in a multitude of ways - belt, neck bow, necktie, scarf, hair bow,e tc.. This blouse is really a neat piece. We had our model put it on and then we questioned whether or not we should sell it, it is really quite cute. I also have the same blouse with navy dots but without a sash/tie.
Size is listed on blouse but it has worn off so that I cannot read it. The model is a size 10 with a 36 C bust and 33" waist.
The part of the tag that is still legible reads, WPL 8694. WPL numbers were issued as registered identification numbers under the Wool Products Labeling Act. WPL numbers were issued from 1941 through 1959. Based on this number and other issues relating to it, I am dating this shirt in the late 1950s.
Blouse is "100% Texturized ??? Polyester".
Condition: Blouse is in great condition. No rips, tears or stains. There is a little soiling on the cuff, but it is very faint and will not photograph.
