Description:
We are offering a red/pink transferware set of 3 butter pats in the Spode's Tower pattern. They measure 3 1/4" across and are incised with the date of '54. This Spode pattern dates back to 1814, and is still in production today. These dishes are in excellent condtition, with no chips or cracks. They came in with a group of other items of the same pattern all from the same person. Some of it has the incised dates, others have a number stamped in ink. Most of the dates are from the '50', so I am dating this from the 1950's and 60's. This dealer's family acquired these dishes in the 1970's, and they were used then. Please check out our GoAntiques site to see the other selections from this collection that we have listed.
