Description: This is a really old double album by RCA Victor. The title is "Music to Remember From the Life of Chopin by Jose' Iturbi" The albums themself are in poor condition with a bite taken out of the edge of each one. These albums are bigger than a 45 but smaller than a regular LP. Not sure what speed this is though as it doesn't say on the albums or cover. The main thing is the cover is quite beautiful and suitable for framing! Does have a little bumping on the edges but still a very pretty cover! The cover is not cardboard like recent albums have..this is more of a heavy paper which makes it even more interresting as this heavy paper has lasted all these years! On the bottom of the front cover it says "Kummer Victor Showpiece" Cover opens up and on the inside is a story about Frederic Francois Chopin with some very sweet illustrations around the border. On the back it tells about Jose Iturbi. I cannot find a date anywhere on the cover or album but I can say..this is very old! On the albums They are Red Seal Records with the Victor RCA logo and dog. Side one and two have the number 10-1140 and A and B after that both on label and carved into record. On the album with side three and four the number is 10-1141 with A and B after that both on label and carved into record. Side one is "Fantasie-Impromptu, Op. Posth (part 1)" . Side four "Mazurka in B-Flat, Op. 7 No.1" Side three "Waltz in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 64,No.2" and side two "Fantasie-Impromptu,Op.Posth (Concluded)" and "Waltz in D-Flat, Op.64.No.1". Oddly enough..side four is on the other side of side 1 and two is on the other side of three! These records are those very hard and heavy type of records. Whether you collect records or just love this gorgeous cover, this is a perfect addition to any music collector! It turns out this is a 78 according to the record experts on the record forums!
