Description: This is a very unusual vintage Butterfly Belt Buckle with an oval shaped enameled center in gorgeous midnight blue with just a hint of iridescence and adorned with winter white bands of swirling ribbons. A beautiful applied centered Butterfly, enameled in what looks like stain glass in hues of green, gold, red; a very feminine work of art! I am unsure of the Silver content although the piece shows no sign of plate wear whatsoever and is quite weighty. Measuring 3 ¾ inches long by 2 ½ inches wide.
