Description: This rare vintage Matina Desk Franchise was produced in 1969 by Brown & Bigelow and 3M. This rare set was a salesman’s sample kit to show prospective clients different desk items they can advertise their company on. The set consist of six different items along with the original sales letter, pricing sheets and advertisement. The set contains a pen set with a 3 ¾” x 12” stand, a 7” diameter ashtray, a 6” x 8” note holder, a 6” x 8” Telematic telephone index, a 5” diameter German made thermometer, an a 2 ½” x 13 ¾” desk rule (12” ruler). The material is listed as an exclusively designed 3M material for Brown & Bigelow desk top items, but unfortunately it does not say what the material is. The set has been sitting on a shelf for over 35 years and was never used by Brown & Bigelow salesmen. This Matina Desk Franchise other than the box is in brand, never used, mint condition.
