Description: This rare vintage Purex Superfine imported briar pipe display was purchased with a large assortment of other pipes and pipe displays from a distributor store that closed in the late 1940’s. We did a little more research on all of our pipes and pipe displays and have found through patent numbers on some pipes and displays that most date from 1937 to 1944. The display features 10 of the original pipes from the display and one Purex Superfine “Bent Bull” pipe that we had sitting loose (pipe on top left side of display). This Purex pipe display has been in storage for over 60 years. THESE ARE NOT USED ESTATE PIPES, THESE PIPE ARE OVER A HALF CENTURY OLD. THE PIPES HAVE NEVER BEEN USED OR SMOKED AND ARE IN BRAND NEW, MINT CONDITION. This is a bargain at less that $20 per pipe plus the original sales card. This is a must have for pipe smokers, tobacciana collectors, pipe collectors or any collector because of the age, condition and rarity of this pipe. Thanks for looking!
