Description: Vintage 1930's Wilton Chicago Ceramic Bride Cake Topper Figurine. This is super sweet piece! This lovely bride figurine was made in the 1930's by Wilton Cake of Chicago, based on my research this piece was made to be used as wedding cake topper. She is made of a ceramic/pottery material, has nicely detailed features and has a glazed finish. She is 6" tall, has a lace skirt over her molded dress, there is a hole in her hands to hold flowers. She is marked on the bottom with Wilton Chicago and also has a paper tag that is taped on the bottom indicating she was from the 1930's, apparently placed there by the person who had saved her as a keepsake. She is in excellent condition, no chips, glaze does have some fine crazing, common in pieces of this age. A fabulous find for your bride or cake topper collection, perfect for a vintage themed wedding!
