Description:
Electrified brass oil lamp Victorian chandelier / lantern with green glass shade and glass internal hurricane.
Approximate dimensions: 30" high (to first canopy) x 19" wide.
This piece is part of our Historic Lighting Collection and was floor sample in our store. This is a new fixture, not an antique.
The auction here is only for the lantern shown, but this is also available via special order in pewter finish, and/or with colorless, blue cobalt, or crystal-etched shade, in two, three, or four-arm lantern/chandelier configurations, as a double billiard / kitchen island chandelier, and as a sconce.
Though the chandelier above is a different production, we are the only source in North America for new, museum-level quality, handmade, entirely custom-made lighting from France and Italy. These pieces are all exclusive to us and are only available through us.
It is my strong belief that this is the finest lighting available today. I will hold it up against any other new, museum-level quality, high-end fixtures, in particular those coming out of the high-end design market in New York, especially from C.N., M.A., J.R, V.L., M.E.D., and C.L. (If you're in this market for this type of lighting, you may know whose these initials are; if you don't, which is completely understandable, please email me and I will gladly provide the names.) Moreover, because our lighting is made for us, by our craftsmen—and because we choose not to have a showroom at the D & D or on Lexington—our pieces are significantly less expensive than those from the above-mentioned sources.
