Description: A rare, wonderful and rustic 19c handmade Amish farmhouse staved wooden syrup pitcher (or tankard) from Lancaster county PA. It has a beautiful folk art painting with sprigs of pink-red flowers and Amish yellow squiggle bands. Original old worn dark green paint. A metal hoop at the bottom and 3 row splint wood banding at the top. A beautifully shaped handle characteristic of the old tankards and jugs of the period. It has lots of character and old world charm, a perfect decorative item for a country kitchen. Measurements: • 7 1/2" Tall • Base 6" • Lid 6 1/2" diameter. Questions welcome. OLD WORLD CHARMS
