Description:

Of classical inspiration, this imperial Russian glass goblet dates from the reign of Catherine II (1762-96). Its rim is decorated with a gilded Greek Key motif and a laurel leaf border. The bowl rests on a short baluster stem and a raised square base resembling a plinth.
