Description: Rare matched pair of fabulous quality Renaissance Revival two part walnut Victorian cabinets. One of the cabinets has shaped glass doors in the top section. The other one has all wooden doors with large shaped raised burled panels. The center of each panel is decorated with a round porcelain plaque surrounded by an original black molding. The tops have incised carvings filled with the original gilt. The cases are enhanced with fancy moldings, applied buttons and carvings, burled panels and shaped fluted columns. The sides of each cabinet have burled inset panels. The original keys have a "W" shape. This could be for the maker or the family they were made for. The interior shelves are adjustable.
