Description: An early 20th century Meji era signed, colorfully hand painted and hand carved Japanese ivory geisha girl sculpture in the round holding a lotus blossom flower, with fine elegant feminine line and form, with exquisite attention to detail down to the bird in her hair and the very strands in her hair the fine flowing drapery of the kimono, the fineness of the face and the hands, raised on a detailed rose wood pedestal base.
