Description: This rare calendar holder features a gold color painted railroad spike from the Great Northern Railway on a vintage Brown & Bigelow produced black walnut base. The railroad spike is from the former Great Northern Railway store in St. Paul, MN. The set also has a vintage Brown & Bigelow produced pen and holder. The walnut base is approximately 7” x 6 ½” and stands 1 ½” tall. The calendar holder uses a 2 7/8” x 3 ¾” calendar, which can be found at any office supply store (Mead Westvaco makes the exact size calendar). This Great Northern Railway desk set is in brand new, never used, mint condition. Thanks for looking!
