Description: Authentic Caucasian. red-wefted "SEWAN KAZAK," 5'8" x 6'9". Entirely handmade from all-natural dyes and pure hand-spun wool. Please note: this is a lower-piled Kazak. It is not a thick and "meaty" rug.

So there is absolutely no confusion, this is a NEW RUG—IT IS NOT AN ANTIQUE. However, it was made using the same methods, materials, techniques, and traditions as the original. This rug is part of a special Museum Collection we are now making in Turkey.
