Description: In 1810 most all designs in oriental export china were- A willow Tree,or Apple Tree, 2 pagodas, fence, and 3 asian people on a bridge.Over 200 English designs in 1830 were produced in this or an adaptation of the Blue Willow design. Japan started their Blue willow ironstone in the early 20th century and now "N. K. T. Japan " is the most desirable of any asian product in this most classic, sought after pattern.Older pieces are easily distinguished by their dark blues as in this piece.(even though it is produced in other colors). Exquisite example of Japanese artistry!Looks great alone or in a grouping. The pictures do not give justice to the gold details and details depicting three tiny people on bridge, or the sweet love birds finding each other in the clear calm sky. You have found a real tiny treasure! Link:
