Description: exciting & rare 17th century Italian andirons. They are of a wonderful hand wrought iron - you can just imagine what it took to make these. Almost every inch of the iron surface has decoration on it. It has the interesting tool holder in the front both with brass ball tops. This is quite a substantial pair and still highly usable not only as a rare collectible antique but also in the fireplace as well. They measure 24 ¼”h x 8 ¼”w x 18 5/8” at deepest.
