Description: This is actually two stories in one book. Raggedy Ann and the Hoppy Toad and also Raggedy Ann in the Garden. Both by Johnny Gruelle. It is a first printing from 1944 and it has an inscription on the inside cover page "September 30, 1944 Phyliss from Papa Leo & Mom". The drawings are by Mary and Wallace Stover after Gruelle. It says it is a Mary Perks Book, distributed by the American Crayon Company. All pages are intact with no tears or markings. The covers are excellent with only very minor corner wear on the top right hand corner.
