Description:
This is a really pretty Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of flowers by Radnor china. This one is unusual because the base is a molded pale green vase with a flower motif rather than the usual white. This piece was made in the 1950s and measures 2.75 inches high by 2.75 inches in diameter and features a purple carnation-type flower, a pink rose and a yellow flower. There are also green leaves. The posy is in excellent condition. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Beautiful! Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $8.50.
