Description:
This all cotton quilt, circa 1930's, has hand appliqued "feathers" in crisp flag blues on a creamy white background. The binding is hand applied in the same blue color. The quilt is quilted with tiny hand-stitches of the finest quality. This quilt can easily be the focal point of a room, as it can be displayed or turned in any way. It is 72''x 84'' and has been washed, but the condition is excellent. This quilt has the wonderful"flat" feel of all cotton and cotton batting! It was made for a "hope chest" in the 1930's and the seamstress told us it was kept for "special ocassion use" only and this is why it is still so beautiful. We will accept only Pay Pal on an order for this item.
