A very rare Royal memorial pitcher dedicated to the memory of Prince Albert, consort to the Queen. The details are unmatched in its presentation and overpowering in the thematic sense of the love that Queen Victoria had for her husband, every detail is faithfully executed in exacting detail; on the one side is the striking and handsome image of the prince, just as he would have been known, as well as the dates of his birth and death. Just above the image of the prince is three of six honorary metals that the prince would have worn on formal occasions, these include the legends with the title of each metal represented; on the opposite side is the Royal coat of arms with three other of the aforementioned metals with their legends. The handle is rich with symbolic sentiments, with the Royal crown as the finial as well as the image of the future King of England Edward the VII within a medallion.
