Description:
This is an original program or Programme made for the Royal Jubilee of Queen Victoria, England in 1897. The programme measures 6 inches high by 8.25 inches wide and was published by and for the Prince Of Wales Hospital Fund. The program has a route, order of precedence and draings of all the components of the procession or parade including a double page of Queen Victoria in her open landau with her parasol. All the regiments are represented as well as other notables on the 120 pages of the programme. The programme is in very good condition, but the cover is detached and a portion of the back cover is missing. This is a rare piece and I have only seen one other in nearly 30 years. A wonderful piece of royal memorabilia.
