Description:
Constructed of mahogany and having a single board top resting on a ring turned base above three cabriole legs ending in snake feet. This period Queen Anne Tilt Top table is likely a Massachusetts piece dating to the mid 18th century. There is an old repair to one foot which has a plug visible from the underside of the foot. Hardly visible until pointed out. Very old repair - very stable. The table also has a replaced lock to the underside of the top. Measuring 36" in diameter by 28" high (47 1/2" high when tilted open). While this table has some apologies, it is a great table with a great scrubbed top and very nice form. If right, this is a $3,000 to $4,000 table. At $1,000, this table is a third of that price. Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If you are not happy with an item purchased, return it in it's original condition for a refund.
