Description: This KPM plaque is believed to depict the lovely and young queen of Prussia, Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie (Luisa Augusta Wilhelmina Amelia), (1776-1810), wife of King Frederick William III. Measures 10.75" by 8.75" and weighs just over two lbs. Excellent condition, with no repairs or restorations. No signature has been found. Original paper label from a retailer in Munich Germany ( Munchen ) on verso. This item comes from a family who have been collecting European porcelain for four generations. It resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment.
