This “Profile in Do-Rag” original ink drawing by Harold Cohn is truly a masterpiece. Measuring at an impressive 22.5” x 33”, this exceptional work of art displays the side view of a woman with her hair up in a headdress. The woman has a long and slender neck which is further emphasized by the thin lines of the ink. The artist appears to have smudged the ink slightly in order to create a fluid sense of subtle movement and softness around the pictured woman. Detailed and designed, the woman’s head scarf attests to the spectacular concept and design of the artist himself.
Double matted with a brushed onyx sable core, topped with a black corrugated mat, the work is framed beautifully in a black and gold rimmed wooden frame. The unique matting and framing presentation of this piece was individually selected and created by Le Chateau’s renowned master framer, Jeanette Shoenrock, and bears her signature on the back.
