Description:
This is a nice old 5 drawer tool chest that originally was used to hold carving chisel. When I purchased it, it had 19th century english chisels in it. The chest and drawers are solid, the exterior of the chest is pine, the draw faces and front chest styles are Oak. The drawer have simple holes drilled in them for your fingers to pull the drawer out. They slide in and out well. There's enough room to store several chisels in this chest along with other tools. Two drawers have divider, one drawer has two and the other has one divider built in. The two wood handles on the sides are solid and have holes to hang small chisel in. Chest measures 24 inches wide x 6 1/2 inches deep x 11 1/2 inches tall. This is a nice early chest that is in very nice shape for it's age!
