Description: This is a signed letter of thanks, by William Howard Taft, 27th President of the United States. The Letter is on Whitehouse Stationary, dated November 27, 1909 and reads as follows: My dear Mr. Hetzner: Please let me thank you as one of those who presented to me the handsome saddle while I was visiting La Quinta. I shall always cherish it as a reminder of my visit to south-eastern Texas. Sincerely Yours, William H Taft. The letter measures 7 x 9 - fine condition except for the fact that a family member of the original recepient mistakenly in trying to preserve this letter, did so by laminating it....well preserved though...
