Description: Feminine, but not fragile … Hailing from the 1930’s or ’40s—with a decidedly Art Deco influence—this substantial, silver-worked bracelet radiates an understated beauty. It is composed of six bezel-set, amethyst quartz cabochon stations, each bordered by four graduated half-beads on either side. The gemstone cabs are beautifully high-domed and boast a striking translucency. They are all linked together with wide, silver connectors embellished with a domino-like pattern of five punched dots. Handwrought by a talented and creative Taxco smith, this is an eminently wearable piece of jewelry from the early years of the Mexican silver renaissance.
