Description:
This Popeye Popcorn tin was packed by Purity Mills, Inc., Dixon, Illinois and has a copyright date of 1949 by King Features Syndicate. It is in near mint condition with its original contents intact and you can see the original price stamp of 2 for 45 cents on the lid (see photos). The paint is excellent; still bright and shiny with no fading and there are just a couple very light scuffs and a couple insignificant scratches. This 12 1/2 ounce size Popeye Popcorn tin is 4 3/4" high, 3 1/8" wide and 2" thick.
