Description: Brilliant transferware pattern w/lustre detailing. Pattern shows a pair of Kimono-clad Japanese women(probably meant to be Geishas) watched over by a "Mamasan" sitting in the Tea House. Lots of stylized flowers, trees, etc. Hand-painted details in the black transferware pattern in pink, torquoise & gold. Lustre on leaves & peony rim design. There is "73" impressed into the bottom indicating it was made in the year of 1873. It is stamped with "2" & hand-written in orange paint "6369". Often called a cabinet plate.
