Description:
Stunning platinum and diamond ladies Art Deco Swiss Didisheim wrist watch. With 40 single cut diamonds .01ct each, .40ct total weight. Platinum case measures 1-5/16" x 5/8". Brushed silver dial with cobalt blue enamel Arabic numerals, embossed floral center, blued steel hands. With a conical synthetic sapphire winding crown. The case is engraved with scroll work down the sides, and in a border on the back. Hand engraved Gothic initials "JS" on the back as well. The nickle movement is very high quality, maker signed "Didisheim Swiss", with 15 ruby jewels, and 2 adjustments. The inside back of the case is hallmarked "Iridium Plat", with the model number "1757-6". The watch has recently been cleaned, oiled and timed and is running well. In outstanding extremely well babied condition, completely original, glass crystal, winding crown, and movement are all original to the case. The only addition is the new cord band, the clasp is marked "Gemex 10K G.F. top". The clasp has an internal sliding safety clasp and also a safety chain. We purposely left the cord an extra long size so that your jeweler could easily custom fit it to your wrist. The total length of the watch now is just under 8", so there will be plenty to work with.
