Description:
How remarkable to find a complete 7 piece pitcher and bowl set. These were originally intended for use with the washstand located in the bedroom for washing up. The set was made by the Johnson Brothers Company, England and stamped "Semi-Porcelain". The set is comprised of a large pitcher, which held water and a large bowl in which the water was poured to wash oneself. There is a chamber pot with its lid, a toothbrush holder, a shaving mug, a small pitcher and a 3-piece soap dish container. All pieces have a wonderful printed floral design with colors of soft pinks, yellows, golds, pale blues and gray greens. The set is trimmed in gold. All the pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. All the gold is intact. What a delight to have such a complete beautifully decorated set.
