Description: The Pigeon Forge Pottery of Tennessee was founded by Douglas Ferguson and his wife in 1946. Throughout the years they employed local artists and had a small but very collectible production. The pottery closed after the death of Douglas Ferguson in 1998. This tile was bought at the pottery in the early 1990's and is signed D Ferguson on the back. Excellent glazing and condition.
