12-Pieces Lenox Tiffany Bone China Meadowbrook M3
Description: Four 3-Piece Bone China Place Settings in Meadowbrook (Pattern No. M3), Made in Second Half of 20C by Lenox in Trenton, New Jersey for Tiffany & Co. in New York. This lot comprises 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, and 4 bouillon cups. The pattern consists of a cream ground and blue border decorated with black and white flowerpots and colored enameled flowers. The rim is gilded as are the loop handles on the bouillon cups. On the underside of each piece are the Lenox stamp, Tiffany stamp, pattern number, and shape number. Dimensions: Dinner plate: 3/4" High, 9" Diameter. Salad plate: 2/3" High, 8-1/4" Diameter. Bouillon cup: 2" High, 6" Wide, 4-1/4" Deep. Total weight: 6 lbs. Condition: The dishes have an uneven color. On some the border is midnight blue while on others the border is slightly darker. Also, there are some discoloration spots (due to moisture?) where the blue appears smudged or faded. There are no chips or cracks, however. A nice "working" set of Lenox.
