Description:
This matching three piece smoking set consists of a tray, a humidor and a cigarette box. Size of the tray is 13-1/4" by 13-1/4" by 1-1/8" deep. Size of the humidor is 7-1/2" tall and 5-3/4" in diameter. The cigarette box is 1-1/4" tall, 6-3/4" long and 4-1/8" wide. There are no markings on this heavy quality smoking set. The surface has a burnished gold gilt surface. The tray has a reversed black painted glass with a matching metal frame. Unknown age; but in an Art Nouveau pattern. The cigarette box has two molded built-in hinges on the lid and bottom. The box is lined with a cedar wood. The humidor lid has a device inside the lid to hold a damp sponge to hold in moisture in the jar. Good condition with some scuffing on burnished gold surface(Mainly on bottom edge of tray) and slight scratching on glass surface. I bought this high quality set over ten years ago from a Midwestern antique shop.
