Interesting photograph of a dramatic Northwest sunset. The photographer took advantage of the perfect moment to capture this amazing fire orange sky just after the sun has dropped behind the horizon. . The photo is not only about a lovely sunset color but taking in artistic view of the meeting of the lines of the shore, water and sky. Which is created by taking the photo a the perfect angle. In contrast to the reddish orange there is the encroaching night with a purplish hue. The gray sand of the Northwest has taken on the same purple as the darkest corner of the sky. There some tacks in the sand that gives it a look of texture. I also wanted to note that the black area that divides the sand and water is actually the wet sand. Off shore on the horizon is a dark area that are some islands. I am not sure where the photo was taken but it looks like of one of the beaches along Puget Sound looking towards the west between Bainbridge Island and Whidby Island.
The condition is good.
the photo is framed and matted in a simple document frame behind glass. It needs to be re-framed. The photo has a few very subtle wrinkles since it is sitting a bit loose in the frame.
The photo is 9 1/2" x 7 1/2". The frame is 14" x 11".
For cheaper shipping I would recommend not having the glass and framed mailed. However I am willing to send it as picture or not.
