Amazing full length back splash / crest featuring a carved woven footed basket of fruits and vegetables and surrounded by flowers, C scrolls, acanthus leaves, carved balls and other well done ornate carvings. This basket carving in the crest is repeated on the drawers of the base tying the entire piece together as an original masterpiece. The three drawer over four cabinet base is highly carved and features a carved egg on each canted corner, predominant decorative panels and recessed center section. Even the shelves in each storage cabinet are original. The opulence and size of this sideboard demands a magnificent setting.
