LE PHARE 18k MINUTE REPEATER CHRONOGRAPH 55mm Circa: 1895. Fine and rare. This example is new/old stock. The repeating chimes on this watch are very pronounced clear. Le Phare specialized in the production of repeater watches from 1890 - 1940. They were the first to mass produce or manufactujre inexpensive repeaters with interchangeable parts. Le Phare patented a centrifugal force governor. Most desirable in this prestine condition. Fully functional, clean, running and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: White porcelain sunken original Chronograph dial signed: "Le Phare". 30 Minute register and sweep chronograph hand. Original fancy hands.
MOVEMENT: 18 size, combining gilt with nickel, Caliber E, minute repeating with a 30 minute registering chronograph. Jeweled hammers. All in like new original condition. Very pronounced and clear chimes.
CASE: Solid 18k yellow gold with hand engraved surfaces. Original case. Push button activating chronograph and repeating mechanism.
