Welcome! We have for sale an old, unique form American Arts and Crafts pottery bud vase by Peters & Reed in the matte Landsun glaze, measuring 6 inches high and about 1 3/4 inches in diameter at the top, 2 5/8 inches in diameter at the bottom. It has a fleabite or small chip at the base underneath, which reveals a brown or red clay body. The matte drip glaze is blue, cream, and golden brown and gives the appearance of flowing upwards from the base. The bottom has old pencil markings that seem to be under the glaze: There is the number 40, a dash and then a 9 in larger pencil and under that, in smaller pencil, a 904. The pottery does have a mark that is both impressed and inked in the geometric Zaneware Peters & Reed mark. Some of the pencil seems to have obscured it, but it is there. Except for the little chip on the bottom underneath, this great Arts & Crafts vase is in good condition. Buy it now! History. Honesty. Price.
