Former Baseball Player and Manger Pete Rose
Pete Rose (born April 14, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio) is a former player and manager in Major League Baseball and is best known for his years with the Cincinnati Reds. Rose is the all-time Major League leader in hits (4,256), games played (3,562), at bats (14,053), and outs (10,328). He won three World Series rings, three batting titles, one Most Valuable, two Gold Gloves and the Rookie of the Year Award.
Three years after he retired as an active player, Rose agreed to permanent ineligibility from baseball amid allegations that he gambled on baseball games while playing for and managing the Reds.
Rose married Karolyn Englehardt in 1964 and the couple had two children. The couple divorced in 1980. Rose married Carol J. Wollung in 1984. They have two children.
