Description: This dynamic gorgeous handmade Tabriz rug measures 10'8" x 7'2" and was made in the city of Tabriz in Iran. The design of the Shahabbasi pattern us used which is a classic design of original Tabriz. This rug is about 50 years old or older and is in excellent condition for the age. There is very little wear to this fine quality rug. Persian rugs which take years to make are woven or knotted so tightly that liquids bead up and do not absorb. Unlike carpet, the rugs are extremely durable and easy to clean. Even if shampooed, they do not bleed. Add this vibrantly colored Persian Tabriz to your home. Seller will pay shipping within the U.S. if reserve is met. Thank you for viewing and happy shopping.
