Description: Pennsylvania Show Towel with delightful needlework with a date of 1835 and the initials "SH" and "AH", could have been two young sisters exhibiting their needle skills. The show towel measures 16" x 52". Wonderful example of Americana, Folk Art and Decorative early needlework. The fine needle work typifies the simple design work of the early Pennsylvanian Germans. The show towel is in very good condition especially considering the age, there are no tears, holes or weakened areas. A very nice piece of American History.
