Description:
Here is an outstanding walnut parlor table with a Renaissance Revival style added to the Eastlake standards. Note the notched corners and use of the 45 degree angle to flare the legs from the central platform base. The center finial is detailed with burled accents and incised carvings along with the rest of this stand. The flared out side pieces offer a little more detail than normal using both incised carvings and burled plaques along with a projected angle and extra carvings. However the real delight is the intricately inlaid central square of the top surrounded by a burled band and detailed with inset gilded accents. There are some areas of restoration to the top which blend in very well with the overall piece.
