Description: A beautifully decorated 'Old Paris' planter, having a rich blue background, with portrait scene on either side, and rich gold decoration. The planter has an opening of 14 1/2" X 9 1/2" X 9" tall, and buldges around the sides. The portrait scene on one side is of a finely dressed lady in a seated position, and a male standing passing her a basket of flowers, with a dog between them. The other side has the male figure seated, with lady standing by a well. The condition of this piece is excellent with only age ware to the gold around the opening. There are two holes in the bottom for drainage. Old Paris was made in Paris from 1770 until 1870. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
