Description: Here is a super antique Parian ware pitcher with a most fascinating subject entitled Paul & Virginia. This pitcher is molded in very high relief - made by T J & J Mayer Dale Hall Pottery Longport. It is of pure white Parian with the most exceptional detail. The pitcher measures an impressive 11 ¼” tall. The condition is excellent all except for a slight flea bite nick on the inside of the spout on each side which isn’t bad considering that this pitcher was made around 1850. You can find this one pictured in the book Parian Phenomenon on page 259. It is excellent in every way!
