Description: Japanese Kutani covered tea cups in two sizes - his & hers. The cups have an orange red ground, accented with a gold topped fan design featuring a lake, trees, and mountains. The cups are also decorated with white cranes and hand painted Japanese character marks. Signed: Each cup is signed on the bottom with a red Kutani mark, in addition to the characters on the tops and sides. Date: Early 1900's. Size/Weight: 4-1/2"H x 2-3/4"Diameter (lg) 4"H x 2-1/2"Diameter (sm); 1 lb. Condition: Slight wear to gilt, but otherwise in excellent condition.
